All Novo Pareo designs are crafted from 100% Mulberry silk — a premium, naturally breathable fibre known for its softness, fluid drape, and gentle sheen. We chose silk intentionally for its quality, longevity, and lower environmental impact compared to synthetic alternatives.

Yes. We are committed to thoughtful design and conscious production. Our silk is biodegradable, requires fewer chemicals than many fibres, and is produced in responsible mills. We also prioritise timeless design to reduce overconsumption.

Our signature pareo size is designed for versatility — generous enough to style as a short or long wrap, top, sarong, or layering piece. Standard size: 160 x 120cm

We recommend gentle care to preserve the quality of your pareo:

Hand wash in cold water with a silk-safe detergent
Avoid wringing, harsh pulling, or rough surfaces
Do not tumble dry
Lay flat or hang to air dry
Iron on a low silk setting or steam iron

Silk is a delicate natural fibre, so be mindful of jewellery, abrasive surfaces, and sharp objects. With proper care, your pareo will maintain its beauty for years.

We don’t recommend swimming in silk. Exposure to saltwater and chlorine may weaken or mark the delicate fibre.

We offer two premium silk options, each with its own unique characteristics:

Silk Crepe: Soft, lightweight, and slightly sheer in direct sunlight, while still offering beautiful coverage when styled as a top or short wrap.

Silk Twill: Not sheer. This fabric is double sided printed for enhanced depth, richness, and versatility.

Both fabrics are crafted to drape elegantly and move with ease, offering refined coverage and comfort from beach to beyond.
